JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in healthcare environment (i.e LPN, EMT, PCT)
2. Mustbeagraduateofanaccreditedschoolofnursing. BSN preferred.
3. MustbecurrentlylicensedasaRegisteredNursein theCommonwealthofVirginiaoreligible to take the
VirginiaStateBoardofNursingexamination.
4. MaintainscurrentBLScertification.Additionalcertificationsmaybenecessaryforspecialtyareas.
5. Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.
6. Mustcompetentlyperformthepracticeofprofessionalnursing.
7. Mustbeabletolift,push,andpullupto50poundsandperformallfunctionsinvolvedinsafepatienthandling.
8. MustbeabletoperformallfunctionsinvolvedinCPR
9. Must work 2 years in New Graduate Float before eligible to transfer to Float Pool and receive a pay increase.
