Our client is searching for an experienced Tender (Proposal) Manager to assist their Steam Turbine business unit to access the Synchoronous Condenser Market in North America.
Responsibilities:
This contractor will help in bid development, business development, contract negotiation and closure. For the synchronous condenser, the typical offering would include a large generator, electrical systems, control systems, major electrical equipment (switch gear, transformers, etc.), water cooling systems, lube oil systems, etc. All of this is housed in a new building which would be constructed specifically for the application.
Qualifications:
Bchelors degree. Engineering discipline preferred.
Engineering background related to Steam Turbine. May consider Gas Turbine.
Experience in leading mid-sized EPC projects (25-50 mUSD), preferably with a Power Generation/Switchyard background.
Ideally would have experience in both EPC sales and execution.
Experience in bid development and costing.
Contract Negotiation and risk mitigation.
Ablity to integrate inputs from multiple contractors.
Successful background checks and drug screen.
