Gerdau is currently seeking a Hydraulic Technician for its Midlothian TX facility.
Responsibilities:
The primary function of this position is to perform regularly scheduled filter changes, inspections, and repairs to hydraulic equipment. Will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment. Install new and/or modify existing equipment.
Qualifications include:
A minimum of 4 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience; must also have a minimum of 2 years of industrial hydraulics experience
Must fully understand principles of fluid power systems
Must have full knowledge of hydraulic schematics and be able to troubleshoot, repair or modify hydraulic equipment
Must be flexible to work 12 hour rotating shifts
