Prior medical experience is helpful but not required - we are willing train the right candidate.
Good typing, computer skills and a background in customer service is strongly desired.
Successful candidates should be professional, punctual, reliable and accountable for quality of their work; be warm, kind and friendly yet efficient and comfortable working as part of a team.
The Front Desk Specialist is responsible for:
greeting and registering patients verifying insurances patient check-in/check-out scheduling appointments in person and over phone taking co-pays answering phones managing referrals entering demographics other general office duties as required Applicants must have:
Prior medical office experience, preferred Proficient computer skills including strong typing skills - Candidates are required to complete a typing assessment for consideration.
