Our client is searching for an experienced Technical Writer / Coordinator with experience in the power generation industry or in the operation of rotating equipment or steam turbine systems.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with Senior Consulting Engineer, research, assemble and organize engineering technical documents and reports by equipment type, operational evolution and customer.
Assemble engineer narratives, photographs, and internal engineering analysis and recommendations into clear unit-focused reports.
Assist with the assembly of standard technical proposals, project plans and training documentation.
Develop technical communication reports of results.
Assist with the development of a document management system for the tracking of technical documentation by equipment type.
Work with different technical organizations and repair facilities.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a minimum of two years experience in a technical writing role.
Bachelors Degree in a technical area preferred.
Experience in the power generation industry or in the operation of rotating equipment or steam turbine systems REQUIRED.
Candidates must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, as well as possess good communications skills.
Comfortable working with deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be able to committ to the 6-9 month temporary assignment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
